5 hurt in Huntsville crash

Five people were injured in a wreck at Wynn and University overnight. Five people were injured in a wreck at Wynn and University overnight.
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A crash injured five people in Huntsville early Tuesday morning.

Two cars crashed at the intersection of University Drive and Wynn Drive around 12:45 a.m.

Two of the victims had serious injuries, but emergency workers said they're not life-threatening.

The crash trapped one person for about 20 minutes, police said.

Officers closed some lanes near the intersection for more than an hour, but the road reopened later.
