The Huntsville City Planning Commission will take on a controversial road plan that has emergency responders at odds with a neighborhood. It involves a cut through road in a Hampton Cove subdivision. Neighbors say it would create a traffic nightmare. Emergency officials say it's a matter of life and death. WAFF's Lauren Morrison is working on this story and will have live coverage beginning at 5AM.
It's summertime, which means pool time for a lot of Valley families. This morning Christine Pae is following up on a 3 year old girl who nearly drowned in a Huntsville apartment pool.
