Authorities investigate thefts at truck companies

MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Investigators in Marshall County have some persons of interest after some trucking companies fell victim to thieves over the weekend.

J&S Transco in Guntersville and Tinsley Trucking in Albertville both reported losses from theft.

Company officials said someone entered at least five vehicles at each location and stole items from the cabs of the trucks. The thefts were discovered when drivers reported for work and found items from the cab missing.

Guntersville Police said they do have some persons of interest in the case but as of now no arrests have been made.

Electronics were primarily taken including cb radios, cd players, am/fm radios, and Bluetooth devices. Even items like personal clothing and log books were stolen.

One of the trucking company owners said he's since put in a video surveillance system at his company.
