3 arrested in Elkmont meth bust

ELKMONT, AL (WAFF) -

Three Limestone County residents have been arrested as the result of a meth bust.

Investigators went to a home on Puckett Lane Thursday afternoon following complaints that meth was being manufactured there.

A search produced a meth lab and two bags of finished product, as well as two glass pipes.

Investigators arrested Richard Thomas Lewter, Lisa Darlene Miller and Tammy Mitchell at the scene. All three were charged with manufacturing and possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All three are currently being held in the Limestone County Jail.
