FAYETTEVILLE, TN (WAFF) -

The man killed in Tuesday night's hit-and-run accident near the Alabama-Tennessee state line will be laid to rest Thursday.

Memorial services for James Shaddy, Jr. are at 7:00 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Tennessee.

Shaddy, who was from Petersburg TN, died when his SUV and another truck collided late Tuesday night. He was part of a caravan of people heading back to Tennessee after a swim meet in Athens.

Meanwhile, state troopers are still looking for the person in the other truck who left the scene of that accident. They are looking for a dark colored Chevy Silverado or Dodge Ram pickup. Troopers say the truck will have damage to the right side.

Troopers are also asking you to pay close attention at auto body repair shops.
