MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Stealing from anybody is wrong, but stealing from the needy just seems so much worse, doesn't it? This week's WAFF 48 Crime Stoppers shows two thieves victimizing a woman who is among the least able to afford it.

Video showed a man and woman law enforcement is looking for making a pretty significant purchase at the Kroger on Moores Mill Road in Madison County April 23rd.

In fact, we're told they bought almost $700 dollars worth of groceries, filling three shopping carts.

The problem is, they used a stolen card to pay for it. Of course, this hurt the victim hard.

The card the two were using wasn't a debit or credit card. It was an EBT card, an Electronic Benefit Card, which is used by people on state public assistance to buy food.

The surveillance video has a very clear shot of the woman pushing the shopping cart of stolen goods out of the store. And you can also see her there's accomplice right behind her.

Do you know recognize this "not-so-dynamic duo"? If so, there's a big cash reward waiting for you.

Remember, if you have information on any person you see on our Valley's Wanted reports, make the anonymous phone call to 256-53-CRIME or send an anonymous text or e-mail by clicking on the Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers link.
