Missing child alert issued for Birmingham baby

BIRMINGHAM , AL (WAFF) -

The Alabama Department of Public Safety issued a Missing Child Media Alert after a 2-month-old baby was allegedly taken by a 14-year-old girl early Monday morning.

Police say De'Anthony Dejuan Kelly was abducted by Dor'Sayde Gathright in the early hours of June 17, 2013 from a Birmingham home.

Gathright and another unidentified female were seen with the child getting into a 2010 silver Dodge Charger driven by an unidentified man. Authorities believe the group is headed to Mississippi.

Dor'Sayde Gathright is a 14-year-old black female with brown eyes and black hair. She is 5'3" and weighs 160 pounds. De'Anthony Kelly is a 2-month-old black male and weighs 20 pounds.

Authorities have not released the specific location of the abduction in Birmingham.
