HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Family and friends gathered Saturday to lay Ezrhea Cherry to rest.

Her funeral was held at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Huntsville.

The 29-year-old was found shot to death in a car near Hester Lane and Searcy Drive last Sunday. Authorities say she was shot multiple times.

Officers arrested 18-year-old Dominick Lewis Everson on first degree murder charges for her death.

Everson was already out of jail on bond for another violent crime he is accused of committing last fall. He is charged with the robbery and attempted murder of a Huntsville cab driver.

He's being held in the Metro Jail without bond.
