HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A Huntsville boutique is fighting back against shoplifters.

Store owners put surveillance video of a woman they say stole from them on Facebook for everyone to see.

It wasn't long before they knew her name, and the case was passed to police.

It was another Huntsville store owner who saw the Facebook post and recognized the woman as someone they say also, stole from them.

The video clearly shows a woman putting several items in her purse before walking out of the store, but we get a close look at her face when she comes back to search for her misplaced car keys.

Store owners say they were suspicious of the woman because of her behavior, but it wasn't until Monday evening they noticed some items were missing.

They did a quick inventory to realize several hundred dollars worth of merchandise was gone.

The store has cameras in every room, so the owners went through the surveillance video and were able to pick out the person they say is responsible.

"She was really good at lifting things and putting things in her purse, right under our noses. She filled that thing up, went out to her car, and came back for more," said Hilary Russell.

The store is now working with police on this case. They plan to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law, and they also hope to get all of their merchandise back.
