HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

The wife of Alabama State Senator Shadrack McGill, R-Woodville, took to Facebook to tell women to stop sending pictures to her husband.

In a post on McGill's Facebook page Monday night, the poster identified herself as Heather McGill, the state senator's wife. She said women, who could possibly be fake, used the social media network to contact her husband "inviting him to explore" and send him pictures.

The poster went to say she would publicly share the identity of the accounts used to approach her husband.

"NO MORE!!! It is a shame that people are so heartless that they would try to split up families," she said in the 311 word post.

As of 8 a.m. Tuesday, the post on McGill's Facebook page had 30 shares, 284 "likes" and 88 comments.

    Saturday, March 25 2017 5:50 PM EDT2017-03-25 21:50:37 GMT

Showers and storms will be ongoing across the Valley this evening. The most widespread rain will be over northeastern AL, but additional scattered storms will track into the Shoals from the west. That round of stormy weather will head east with time and should be out of the Valley after midnight. The threat for severe storms is low, but a few strong storms are possible.
