DEKALB COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Deputies arrested four people on drug charges after a meth bust in DeKalb County.

Authorities discovered 40 marijuana plants, drug paraphernalia and five meth labs after doing a follow-up on a missing person report at a residence in Crossville.

Michael Mooneyham, 43 of Crossville, Hannah Beth Mooneyham, 18 of Albertville, Cynthia Kay Mooneyham, 49 of Crossville, and Stacie Mooneyham, 40 of Grove Oak, were all arrested and charged with unlawful possession and manufacturing of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and trafficking marijuana.

All suspects remain in the DeKalb County Detention Center awaiting bonds.

"This deputy did a great job in being aware of his surroundings while dealing with several suspects. Our officers responded quickly to assist him and we will find the last suspect who fled soon. We are familiar with these folks so we don't think it will take long to get Nelson. I'm proud of our officers and the good job they are doing," said Sheriff Jimmy Harris.
