HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

On Sunday dozens celebrated the life of a 10-year-old girl killed a week ago in a multiple-vehicle wreck.

The Huntsville Eastern League held a fellowship event in honor of Jaden Coppens at Cove Park.

Her fellow teammates played wiffle ball which was her favorite game.

Jaden died after a six-car pileup a week ago on Weatherly Road. Her mother and sister were also injured in the wreck.

The event served as a fundraiser to help assist with Jaden's funeral arrangements.

"Trying to get all we can get to help them so they don't have think about any of the business end. Just trying to get them to focus on themselves and we can take care of that and help them as much as we can," said Corey Minton, a neighbor to the Coppens Family.

The event raised $5,887. The money will go to funeral expenses for Jaden and medical costs for her mother and sister.
