MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

One person was arrested and deputies are looking for a second after authorities discovered a meth lab and dozens of marijuana plants inside a home in Morgan County.

Investigators executed a search warrant on East Piney Grove Road in Falkville Friday. Agents located a one-pot meth lab, items used for manufacturing meth and 31 marijuana plants.

Deputies arrested Heather Tatum, 33 of Falkville, and are looking for Phillip Scott Smith, 53 also of Falkville. Tatum was charged with unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance, trafficking meth, and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. Warrants for similar charges have also been issued for Smith.

Bond for Tatum was set at $600,000. Authorities are asking that anyone who has knowledge on the whereabouts of Smith to call the Morgan County Sheriff's Office at 256-301-1175.
