HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville Police are investigating a robbery at the La Quinta Inn.

It happened just before 9 p.m. Saturday at the motel located in the 3100 block of University Drive. Officers said the suspect walked into the lobby with a gun and demanded money from the clerk. 

Witnesses said the offender took money and fled. Police said hotel guests were inside the lobby when it happened but no one was injured.

According to authorities, officers arrested the suspect at a nearby hotel. Police said the offender was a juvenile and are not releasing his name.
