MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Half Time Bar and Grill in Madison scored a 75 with the Madison County Health Department.

The inspector reported the ice machine was dirty, inside and out. The inspector also reported the fountain drink nozzles and a cutting board were dirty, too. Half Time also lost points because a worker was using the same towel to wipe of their hands multiple times.

The Vulcan Express in Boaz remained on the Marshall County Health Department's reinspection schedule, scoring an 82.

They had scored a 79 and an 80 during their previous two inspections. This time, the health inspector reported a tub holding breading was cracked and they discovered an open employee drink sitting next to paper products used to clean.

The Akshar Discount Food Mart in Douglas scored an 81 with the Marshall County health Department.

The inspector reported pizza was held at 126 degrees Farenheit, that's below the minimum 135 degrees required to prevent bacterial growth in hot-holding foods. The inspector also noted that the inside of the ice maker needed to be cleaned.
