Man pleads guilty to Lauderdale Co. teen's murder

LaMarcus LaShore will serve three life sentences. LaMarcus LaShore will serve three life sentences.
LAUDERDALE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

LaMarcus LaShore pleaded guilty to felony murder and two counts of robbery in Lauderdale County.

He will serve three life sentences, and they will be served consecutively. He will be eligible for parole in 15 years, but the DA said they will do whatever it takes to keep him in prison.

LaShore was the shooter in the 2011 murder of 17-year-old Joshua Honey.

Lashore and two other men, Devante Barnett and Tyrus Montrel Thompson, were charged with capital murder.

Cases for the two other men involved will proceed to trial.

    A ground search ensued that lasted about four hours and covered approximately six miles, ending a few hundred yards east of Hays Mill Road where the suspects were caught in a hunting stand/shoot house.
