Third robbery suspect arrested in Florence

FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -

Florence Police arrested a third robbery suspect in an overnight incident.

Officers responded to the Texaco station at Royal Avenue and Hermitage Drive just after midnight Tuesday.

Within minutes of the call, officers took 18-year-old Andrew Isac Hamer and 31-year-old Wayne Jerome Ford, Jr. into custody. They were charged with first degree robbery.

A third suspect got away.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Police said they arrested and charged a third person, 21-year-old Josh Mardis, Tuesday afternoon.
