MUSCLE SHOALS, AL (WAFF) -

School leaders in Muscle Shoals met to discuss the superintendent's yearly evaluation.

Put together by the Alabama Association of School Boards, officials reviewed the report and discussed some of Superintendent Jeff Wooten's strengths and weaknesses assessed by his peers.

Wooten met or exceed expectations in almost every category except when it came to relationship and communication with board members.

BOE President Pam Doyle said communication is something they will all have to work on for the upcoming year.

Wooten's contract is up next month.

Doyle said they are still negotiating a deal for a one year extension.
