TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

Twin brothers are facing identical charges in a Mother's Day robbery reported in Tuscaloosa.

Kendrall Bernard Woods and Kendrick Antwan Woods, both 18, are accused of robbing the EZ Shop on Greensboro Avenue around 8:20 a.m. Sunday, May 12.

Police were told one of the suspects pointed a gun at the store clerk and demanded money. The suspects then took an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot, prompting the Tuscaloosa Police Department to flood the area with officers in a search for the suspects.

The Woods brothers were found in an area of Ingleside Drive. Sgt. Brent Blankely with TPD says investigators had probable cause to arrest the twins on one count each of first degree robbery.

The brothers are being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $60,000 bond.

David: Showers and storms ongoing across the Valley

    Saturday, March 25 2017 5:50 PM EDT2017-03-25 21:50:37 GMT

Showers and storms will be ongoing across the Valley this evening. The most widespread rain will be over northeastern AL, but additional scattered storms will track into the Shoals from the west. That round of stormy weather will head east with time and should be out of the Valley after midnight. The threat for severe storms is low, but a few strong storms are possible.
