DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

A man charged for a murder in Decatur is back in jail after he was free on bond.

Jameson Staten is one of three men charged with killing Glenn Blackwood at the victim's apartment in June, 2012.

A judge had lowered the bonds for Staten and Steven O'Neal King Jr. from $500,000 to $20,000 each. Both made bond and were released.

Morgan County District Attorney Scott Anderson Staten said Staten violated one of the conditions the judge laid out when lowering his bond.

When the judge lowered the bonds for Staten and King, he told them they had to pass random drug tests, they could not contact the victim's family or each other, they had a curfew, and they had to enroll in school or a GED program.

Anderson said he could not reveal exactly which one of the conditions was violated because of confidentiality with the community corrections program.

Decatur investigators said a third man, Lorin Wilson, pulled the trigger, killing Blackwood. They said Staten and King were there to help Wilson rob the victim.

King remains free on bond. Wilson is in jail. The judge revoked Staten's bond.

There will be a hearing concerning the bond on August 5.

The following week, all three have youthful offender status hearings scheduled. All three were 17 years old at the time of the murder.
