HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Sometimes all it takes is one person, one phone call, one tip to solve a crime. A very clear surveillance picture may help police catch a crook and help you pocket some cash.

An anonymous tip helped police identify the man as Thomas Hunter Malone, and an arrest warrant was issued.

Malone was seen on surveillance video inside the Target store on University Drive March 14. Huntsville Police said he was in the process of committing a crime.

According to Huntsville Police, he got his hands on several necklaces in the store, took them to the back of the store, and removed the price tags. He then stuffed them down his pants.

Loss prevention officers in the store saw what he was doing, and a fight broke out. Malone was able to break away from them and take off.
