A Moulton man was killed in a house fire on North Street.
Firefighters were called out on reports of a structure fire around 1 p.m. Sunday.
When crews arrived, the home was fully engulfed in flames. Neighbors told firefighters they believed someone was inside the home.
Crews were unable to locate anyone during a search of the home due to heavy smoke. After the fire was put out, firefighters found a man's body inside.
The victim's family identified him as 59-year-old Johnny Dutton. Family members said he lived alone.
His body was sent to forensics for an autopsy.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
