HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

People go to gyms to work on their physical health, but a man claims his financial health got worked over during a workout.

While the victim was busy working out in a noisy weight room, Huntsville Police said a thief was quietly confining his activity to the locker room.

According to Huntsville Police, this crime started at Powerhouse Fitness on University Drive.

The victim said in the police report that he was working out. He had left his pants with his wallet inside in the locker room, but it wasn't locked up.

While he was lifting weights, the crook was lifting his wallet.

Meanwhile, the thief was seen on surveillance video at a Huntsville Target store using that card to buy an iPad on February 15th.

If you know who he is, you can turn him in anonymously.
