Third white supremacist murder suspect located

COWAN, TN (WAFF) - Tennessee investigators say they've captured one of the two men still wanted in connection with a white supremacist murder in Cowan last month.

According to Franklin County deputies, Coty Holmes was found by U.S. Marshalls in Fort Walton Beach, Florida this week.

He's being held by the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office and will go before a Superior Court Judge soon to determine when he'll be sent back to Tennessee.

Holmes is one of four men suspected in the killing of 26 year old Corey Matthews. Last week, investigators revealed that he was killed by blunt force trauma to the head and body. He was found in a field next to the Jackson Cemetery in Cowan on March 24th.

Two men - Todd E. Dalton and John Corey Lanier were arrested and charged with the crime last week.

A fourth man - 46 year old David Gordon Jenkins, is still on the loose.

Police believe all five men were involved in white supremacist groups, and the murder stemmed from an argument over that fact.
