Authorities search for escaped Ala. inmate

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WAFF) -

Authorities are looking for an escaped inmate.

Prison officials say Clydie May Johnson escaped from the Birmingham Community Based Facility.

On Sunday morning, Johnson was unaccounted for at her jobsite in Leeds.

Johnson is a white female, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 250 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. 

She was sentenced out of DeKalb County on July 28, 2011. She was serving a 15 year sentence for forgery. 

Johnson has a scheduled parole date in November, 2013, with a minimum release date in November, 2015.
