Hearing set for attorneys who want off school shooting case

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A Madison County Circuit Judge set an April 18 hearing date for the three attorneys who asked for permission to withdraw from the Discovery School shooting case.

According to court documents, attorneys Bruce Gardner, Robin Clem and James Parkman all want off Hammad Memon's case.

Memon is charged with the murder of Todd Brown. 

Brown was shot and killed during a class change at Discovery Middle School in Madison in 2010.

Memon has a status conference set for April 25. His trial is scheduled for June 17.

Memon is in the Huntsville-Madison County Metro Jail without bond.
