FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -

The attorney representing the so-called Ball Cap Bandit filed a motion requesting to withdraw from the case.

According to the document, Tim Case has already "been terminated as the attorney of record for Cedrick Hicks".

A representative at Case's law firm would not say if that meant Hicks chose to terminate Case.

Agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested Hicks in Decatur in March. He's being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on a $350,000 bond.

Hicks is accused of robbing banks in Huntsville, Hamilton, Cullman, Albertville, Guntersville, Priceville, Rogersville, and Pulaski. A Lauderdale County grand jury indicted him for the hold up at a bank in Rogersville.
