HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A defense expert for accused school shooter Hammad Memon filed a second request for more time to finalize his report.

Dr. Paul O'Leary performed a mental examination on Memon.

His report was due Friday, but the judge gave him until Monday to complete the report.

Another motion for more time was filed Monday morning. That motion states Dr. O'Leary was in a car accident Sunday and was unable to finish his report.

Defense attorneys asked the judge to give Dr. O'Leary until Wednesday.

Once completed the report will be sealed.

Memon is charged with the murder of Todd Brown. Brown was shot and killed during a class change at Discovery Middle School in 2010.

Memon is in the Huntsville-Madison County Metro Jail without bond. His trial is scheduled for June 17.
