Sentencing date set for bail bond agent

A Madison County judge set a May 31 sentencing date for a bail bond agent who pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

James Baugh faced a murder charge. Friday, he agreed to plead guilty to manslaughter.

Baugh, the owner of One Hour Bonding, shot and killing 19-year-old Danny Laray Moore.

The shooting happened in 2010 on Deerfield Road in Huntsville. Police found Moore shot in the head in the front yard of his home.

Investigators say Baugh was trying to apprehend Moore when the shooting happened.

Baugh faces two to 20 years for the manslaughter charge.
