Amber Alert issued for 2 boys

TAMPA, FL (WAFF) -

The Alabama Department of Public Safety issued AMBER Alert in cooperation with the State of Florida.

The AMBER Alert has been issued for Cole Hakken, a white male, 4 years old, 3 feet 9 inches tall, 44 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes and Chase Hakken, a white male, 2 years old, 3 feet tall, 33 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes.

The children were last seen in the area of Tampa.

Tampa NBC affiliate WFLA reports that the children were kidnapped by their parents at the children's grandmother's home. WFLA reports that both parents hold anti-government views and have attempted an armed abduction of their children before.

The children may be in the company of Joshua Hakken, a white male, 35 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 175 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes and Sharyn Hakken, a white female, 34 years old, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 150 pounds, brown hair and hazel eyes.

They may be traveling in a 2006, black GMC Sierra, FL tag number U95KT.
