2 arrested in Decatur after meth lab found in car

DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

Decatur Police arrested two men at a car wash after officers said they found a meth lab their vehicle.

According to police there were several items in the vehicle that were consistent with a meth lab. After searching the vehicle, Investigators also found an active one-pot meth lab under the passenger seat.

Kenneth Dean Guthrie, 42, and Robert Kolb, 26, were arrested Wednesday and charged with unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance. Guthrie was additionally charged with tampering with physical evidence. 

Guthrie and Kolb were taken to the Decatur City Jail and will be transported to the Morgan County Jail. Guthrie is being held under $5,500 bond, and bond for Kolb is set at $5,000.
