4 people arrested on drug charges in Scottsboro

SCOTTSBORO, AL (WAFF) -

Drug agents arrested four people after a search at a residence in Scottsboro.

Investigators found drug paraphernalia, meth residue, parts of a meth lab and other items at home and shed on County road 30.

Deputies arrested Courtney Michelle Johnson, 23, Marvin Eugene Cornelison, 37, Scott Alan Ferrier, 41, Amy Yvette Vandiver-Ferrier, 37, all of Scottsboro.

Johnson and Cornelison were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond for both was set at $500.

Ferrier and Vandiver-Ferrier were charged with unlawful manufacture of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Ferrier was additionally charged with promoting prison contraband after investigators found a syringe on his person during a search at the jail.

Bond for Ferrier was set at $25,500 and $10,500 for Vandiver-Ferrier. All four suspects are being held in the Jackson County Jail.
