HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

One woman is dead after a two-vehicle wreck in Huntsville Sunday.

Around 1 p.m., officers said a car pulled out of the CVS parking lot and was struck by another vehicle at the intersection of Homer Nance and Winchester Road.

The driver of the car, 23, Carolyn Jean Parker was killed. Investigators said she was the only passenger. Huntsville Police determined through witness statements that Parker failed to yield the right of way into oncoming traffic.

The passengers in the other vehicle suffered only minor injuries.
