MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - Panda III in Arab scored an 80 with the Marshall County Health Department. The inspector reported three critical violations.

The inspector noted that cooked food wasn't being cooled correctly, which can lead to bacterial growth.Bacterial growth can also happen when hot food isn't held hot enough, and the inspector reported that was happening at Panda III. The inspector also reported a worker had cut the top off a plastic food container and continued to use it.

It takes an 85 or better to get off of the health department's reinspection schedule, and four straight times Taqueria y Restaurante mi Princesa couldn't do it.

They scored an 74, a 79, an 81, then an 82. But during their most recent reinspection, the restaurant made it off of the schedule, scoring an 89.

The bakery at La Orquidea in Albertville did the same. After scoring an 82 and an 83 during their previous two inspections, they scored an 87 this time.

The Town Creek Filling Station in Guntersville also improved during their reinspection, jumping from a 65 to an 88.
