Trial for teacher accused of sex with teen delayed for 7th time

RUSSELLVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

The trial for a Franklin County educator accused of having sex with a 17-year-old has been delayed again.

Court records show seven prior trail dates for Kimberly Bynum.

Bynum taught math at Vina High School. She is charged with being a school employee engaging in a sex act with a student under the age of 19 years.

Bynum's trial was set for April 1. It is now scheduled for June 10 at the Franklin County Courthouse in Russellville.
