KILPATRICK, AL (WAFF) -
Three people were arrested on drug trafficking charges after police responded to a report of domestic violence in Kilpatrick.
Crossville Police arrested 22-year-old Juan Carlos Garcia-Moreno, 22-year-old Viviana Elizabeth Garcia, 24-year-old Nicole Marie Francisco all of Kilpatrick.
Investigators found a pistol, meth packaged for sale, a small amount of marijuana and $1,185 in cash in a box at the residence.
DHR along with drug agents responded because police said a 1-year-old child was at the home at the time of the arrests.
All three suspects were arrested and charged with trafficking meth, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
"These officers did a good job of following their instinct and evidence in this case. This is a substantial amount of meth and was very obviously ready for sale. Street price for this much meth would be over $8000," said Sheriff Jimmy Harris.
