3 arrested on drug charges after standoff in DeKalb Co.

DEKALB COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

DeKalb County deputies arrested three people on drug charges after a standoff.

Sheriff Jimmy Harris said they found two men and a woman inside an abandoned home near Cartersville.

Deputies knocked on the door, but they refused to come out. That's when special response team members forced their way in.

Aaron Wayne West, Deanna McCurdy, and Jesse Lee Baker were taken into custody.

They all face drug manufacturing and possession charges.

West also had several outstanding warrants and a probation revocation.
