MONTGOMERY, AL -
Construction of the new Interstate 85 interchange at Perry Hill Road will require some overnight lane
closures under the bridge at Exit 4 (Perry Hill Road) to install lane shifts.
Tuesday
Night & Wednesday Morning - March 19 & 20
The outside lane of
I-85 North will be closed between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.
The outside lane
of I-85 South will be closed between 10 p.m. and midnight.
The two outside
lanes of I-85 North will be closed beginning at 11 p.m. until 2 a.m.,
Wednesday.
The inside lane
of I-85 North between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m., Wednesday.
The
lane shift on I-85 North will be in place with all lanes open by 6 a.m.,
Wednesday.

Night & Thursday Morning - March 20 & 21
The outside lane
of I-85 South will be closed between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.
The two outside
lanes of I-85 South will be closed beginning at 11 p.m. until 2 a.m., Thursday.
The two inside
lanes of I-85 South will be closed from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m., Thursday.
The
lane shift on I-85 South will be in place with all lanes open by 6 a.m.,
Thursday.
A work zone speed limit of 45 mph will be strictly enforced.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust
arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone
signs, and use extreme caution in this area.
The
$8.4 million interchange improvement project on I-85 at Perry Hill Road (Exit
4) will include bridge widening, additional lanes and new traffic signals.The
project is estimated to be completed by
November 2014.
