RUSSELLVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A Russellville man was arrested after police caught him in breaking into a pharmacy.
Investigators said 28-year-old Matthew Justin Oneal faces a list of charges including burglary, theft of property and possession of a controlled substance.
Around 6 a.m. Monday, Russellville police said they got a call about a break-in at the Hometown Pharmacy.
While patrol officers went to check on other pharmacies, one officer caught Oneal making a run for it from inside the Franklin Pharmacy on Mustang Drive.
Police arrested Oneal after a brief foot chase, recovering most of the drugs. Oneal is being held at the Russellville City Jail without bond.
