BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Baton Rouge Police say a man was shot and killed Friday night while he was standing in his driveway. The shooting happened in the 3700 block of Geronimo Street around midnight.
C.J. Grisby, Jr., 46, was standing in his driveway when he was shot in the face by an unknown black male. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Police believe Grisby was the victim of an attempted armed robbery. Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
