HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
The Arts Council has unveiled the Panoply 2013 poster and t-shirt artwork. The group also announced the festival's Sunday headlines.
Danny Cottingham of Huntsville created the t-shirt art. He has a background as a children's book illustrator.
Grace Wever designed this year's poster, called "Luminescence." It is made of hand-dyed cotton, silk, and other textiles and highlighted with encaustic wax. It was designed to depict Panoply at night. Wever has studios in Union Grove, Alabama and Westcliff, Colorado.
The council also announced the festival's Sunday lineup. The a cappella group "Committed" will take the Valley Jubilee Stage on Sunday, April 28th, at 4 p.m. After that, the Panoply Festival Orchestra with piano soloist, Dr. Margery McDuffie Whatley, will perform at 5:30 p.m.
