FRANKLIN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
A husband and wife along with two other people face multiple charges after deputies seized nearly 30 meth labs.
Investigators said most of the labs were inactive.
Deputies said they got a tip that someone in a truck threw out what appeared to be a meth lab.
After a truck matching the description drove by, deputies arrested the two people inside.
Authorities said they found more than half a dozen labs that were thrown on the side of the road along Highway 61 and 36 in Franklin County, in the Rockwood Community. The rest were seized from a nearby home less than a half mile away.
Deputies arrested Addie Oliver, Jeff Hargett, John Oliver, and Monica Young.
All four being held in the Franklin County Detention Center facing a list of charges including manufacturing meth, attempt to manufacture meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
