HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A hiker is safe after getting hurt while on a walking trail.
Rescue crews were called to Monte Sano Park around 7:30 p.m.
The group started their hike Tuesday afternoon.
While walking on the trail, one hiker stepped on a large rock and grabbed a boulder that fell on her leg.
Crews were able to find her on the trail and help remove the boulder.
The hiker suffered a minor injury and was able to walk out of the woods.
