JACKSON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
A Jackson County man who killed his girlfriend will not get a new trial.
The judge ruled against Michael Bunch's request Tuesday afternoon.
Bunch killed Lisa Harper and dumped her body in Marshall County.
He will serve life in prison, but he is now taking his appeal to the state court.
