Birmingham, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference unveiled its men's basketball coaches' postseason awards Tuesday to cap off another exciting season of SEC basketball.

LSU forward Johnny O'Bryant earned a spot on the coaches All-SEC First Team, while guard Anthony Hickey was selected to the SEC's All-Defensive team.

O'Bryant III is the first Tiger to be first team All-SEC since both Tasmin Mitchell and Marcus Thornton were named to the first-team by the coaches in 2009. O'Bryant III scored 13.8 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.

Hickey leads the nation with 3.1 steals a game. He is tied with the fourth most steals in a season at LSU with 83 and is trying to become just the fifth player in league history to average 3.0 steals a season. Hickey has scored 11.8 points per game while dishing out 3.8 assists.

Florida's Billy Donovan earned SEC Coach of the Year honors.

Georgia sophomore Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was selected the SEC Player of the Year by the league's coaches.

Kentucky's Nerlens Noel took home SEC Freshman of the Year and SEC Defensive Player of the Year accolades. Kentucky's Kyle Wiltjer was tabbed SEC Sixth Man of the Year while Florida's Patric Young earned SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors.

Coaches voted on eight member teams for First Team All-SEC, Second Team All-SEC and for the SEC All-Freshman Team. They voted on a five-player squad for the SEC All-Defensive Team. They were not permitted to vote for their own players and ties were not broken.
