The Children of Alabama just as the children all over this country want leaders who can lead and make decisions to better their future. Last week the Al Legislature attempted to vote on HB84, "The Alabama Accountability Act" which authorizes the establishment of innovative schools and school systems in the State. While HB84 and its implication are important to the future of Al's school children, the behavior our elected officials displayed is by no means what parents and teachers want Al school children to consider as appropriate when trying to solve a problem. Let's hope when our legislatures meet to discuss future bills they engage everyone in the process so they can be fully informed before they put it up for a vote.
