The search for a missing Louisiana teacher is getting some help from Houston-based EquuSearch.
Terrilynn Monette, a teacher in Jefferson Parish, has been missing for more than a week now. She was last seen at Parlay's Bar in Lakeview. This weekend, family and friends combed through New Orleans City Park looking for any sign of her.
"And, I just want to tell her stay strong, Terrilynn please," said Nicole Monette. "I love you. This is your sister Nicole. Stay strong. I just want to tell you I love you and just stay strong."
Police are still investigating whether foul play was involved. They have interviewed the man with whom Monette was last seen, but declined to say whether he is a person of interest. A manager at the apartment complex where she lives said her apartment is still an active crime scene.
