HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville Police responded to a shooting on Bridge Road near Kirkland Drive Friday night.
Police said the victim, 27-year-old Darrin Fennell, had been shot several times during an altercation at a party. Fennell was transported to Huntsville Hospital with life threatening injuries.
Police arrested 37-year-old William Earl Robinson, at another location shortly after the shooting.
Before Robinson was arrested, officers took him to Huntsville Hospital where he was treated for a minor gunshot wound in the leg not caused by the victim.
The individual who shot Robinson was interviewed and later released.
