BIRMINGHAM, AL (WAFF) -
Four Alabama airports will be impacted by cuts the FAA outlined under federal budget sequestration.
The FAA's $600-million budget cutting plan includes closing down four control towers.
Those towers are in Mobile, Dothan, and Tuscaloosa.
The overnight shift would be eliminated at the Birmingham Shuttlesworth Airport.
The FAA SAID furloughs and facility shutdowns will start next month.
