HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
If negotiations go as planned, fare rates at Huntsville
International Airport could start to decline.
The airport recently was named as having the
highest fares in the country. Representatives said they are hoping to clear up
any misconceptions about the airfares, but that they are also working to build
more support for Huntsville International.
The airport is currently conducting a survey
and is asking for the ability to negotiate some fares.
Airport officials will speak Saturday at the Tennessee
Valley Republican Club as they seek support for their efforts.
